BONG-RA release "Esoterik"

New album "Esoterik" finds Jason Köhnen's BONG-RA continuing the alchemical evolution that defines his most adventurous work. Among his deepest, most focused and atmospheric creations to-date, "Esoterik" is an occult-Industrial descent into the liminal space between shadow and radiance, matter and spirit, destruction and revelation.

Jason (THE KILIMANJARO DARKJAZZ ENSEMBLE, THE LOVECRAFT SEXTET) had this to say:

"The main thing I try to express in an abstract way is that the light and the dark need to exist together. The challenge is to find the right balance, the yin and yang. This duality manifests itself in all the layers of existence. As above, so below. But most important is to try and work towards the inner yin/yang, as that for me is probably the answer to a meaningful life and of a possible universal co-existence."

Consisting of five intense and hauntingly distinctive compositions, the album is now officially released on CD and vinyl - with merch available - and can be ordered from our EU, US and Bandcamp shops.
