A week before official release, Québec's foremost atmospheric Black Metal band MISERERE LUMINIS present their third album, "Sidera", via Black Metal Promotion YouTube channel. Oscillating between dark kinetic energy and beauteous rapture, this singular band have delivered a melancholic epic – affecting, profound, and ultimately life-affirming.

Guitarist and vocalist Annatar comments on "Sidera":

"Our music is an alchemical process. The raw ore - pain, sadness, rage, doubt, loss - is surrendered to the fire. It has to melt down completely before it can become anything new. Smelting is a violent, consuming process. Then it is forged, shaped and hammered in a slow and deliberate work of refinement. What emerges is purified and transformed into something the raw ore could never have been on its own. There are definitely shadows in what we do. But for me, the end result doesn't evoke the raw materials that went into it. What comes out on the other side feels energizing, even hopeful. What we're really after isn't pain or distress. It's something closer to the tragic. And I think there's an important distinction there. The tragic doesn't crush you. It elevates you. It acknowledges the weight of human experience while still reaching for something transcendent. That's the feeling we want to leave the listener with."
