Originally active 2004-2010, US epic symphonic Black Metal band ANFAUGLIR are now resurrected in glorious style to unleash new album "Akallabêth" - a suite of rousing, emotive and triumphant longform manifestations of Tolkien's legendary mystical world. This monumental opus is now officially released and available via Bandcamp, on our YouTube channel and across all major streaming platforms.

ANFAUGLIR say this on breathing musical life into the vast and timeless universe of Tolkien:

"Our work is very faithful to the world that Tolkien has created, while hopefully adding some perspective and modernity. A defining theme of "Akallabêth" is man's struggle with mortality and the unknown fate of what lies beyond. We've utilized three voice actors, a classical guitar player, soprano singer and a Quenya language specialist to all help bring "Akallabêth" to life. We like to handle as much of the work ourselves, but they felt like fitting additions to elevate the project. All told, the recording itself took about two years to complete. Surprisingly no mishaps to report either. We stayed consistent working on the production, carving out time to purely dedicate to finishing the project."
